The world wasn’t supposed to see this show outside of the venues Metallica played in. BUT, one brave soul pulled out his camcorder (they were pretty damn big back then, so it makes this exceptionally bold), and recorded the whole show.
SOMEHOW, Lars got ahold of the footage, and dubbed the sound board audio to it, resulting in a BOOTLEGED edition of Metallica Monday, LIVE from Irvine, California at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre in 1989. This was the band’s LAST stop on the Damaged Justice North American Tour.
