Ice Nine Kills was scheduled to play a show in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. on April 26th with Falling in Reverse. But a sharp-eyed fan noticed the band recently dropped the date from their website. When asked, the band was very honest.
“Disney’s House of Blues in Orlando banned us from performing because of our violent imagery. It’s a shame because I know I’ve seen Donald Duck at a show before, he’s an INK fan.”
Yes, turns out, Disney is not a fan of Ice Nine Kill’s horror imagery, and told them they are banned form all Disney establishments (not the first band to have this happen to them, by the way).
So taking it in stride, INK even took it a step further with the following announcement:
Mickey Mouse as Freddy Kruger! Goofy as Leatherface! and Donald Duck as the kid from “IT” and the text “We all Float Down Here” in Disney font on the sleeve!
