Police are looking for information in a fatal shooting that happened Monday night in a neighborhood in central Wichita.
Officers were called to the 600 block of South Laura around 10:15 p.m. and they found a 14-year-old boy nearby in the 1100 block of East Orme. EMS and fire crews provided medical treatment, but the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are still looking for leads, and anyone with information is urged to call them at 268-4407, Crime Stoppers at 267-2111 or the See Something Say Something hotline at 519-2282.
No other details have been released.
