With the new year, the Wichita City Council has voted to elect a new vice-mayor who will serve a one-year term.
District 6 Council member Maggie Ballard will serve as the vice-mayor for 2024. She was sworn-in during Tuesday’s Council meeting.
District 3 Council member Mike Hoheisel was recognized for his service as vice-mayor for 2023.
