Kansas City, Missouri police are confirming that a child who was found dead had fallen from an apartment building.
Authorities say surveillance video confirmed that the boy had fallen from a window in the building before being found dead in an alley near 10th Street and Grand Boulevard on Monday. It’s not clear how he fell.
Police have identified the boy as five-year-old Grayson O’Connor. Investigators said the boy’s mother is a person of interest and they are still working to determine if this was a case of homicide or child neglect.
