An unidentified man was killed in a house fire early Sunday in northeast Wichita.
Fire units were called around 3 a.m. to a home in the 1700 block of North Fountain. Crews saw flames coming from the home when they arrived. They found a man inside the home and got him out, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the man had mobility issues and smoke inhalation is the likely cause of death. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
