The Salvation Army in Wichita has started the distribution of more than 2,000 coats to people in need.
The annual Warm Hearts coat distribution program began Monday and it will continue through October 20th, and again from October 23rd to the 27th. It will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. People will need to bring and ID to pick up a coat for the winter.
There are three distribution sites:
Downtown Koch Center, 350 N Market St. Downtown Wichita – 9:30am to 3pm
Citadel Corps Community Center, 1739 S. Elpyco – 9:30am to 3pm
West Orchard Community Center, 1910 S Everett – 9:30am to 3pm
