Work begins this week on a bridge repair project for Interstate 135 in Harvey County.
The project involves the bridge on Southeast 60th Street that crosses I-135 north of K-196. The bridge will be closed to traffic and signs will direct motorists on Southeast 60th to a detour to K-196.
Wildcat Construction Company of Wichita is the primary contractor for the $94,432 project.
The work is expected to begin Monday, October 2nd and it should be completed around November 3rd.
