School officials in Butler County have identified the teenager who was killed last Friday in a crash involving a car and a school bus.
Circle High School junior Haile Friesen was a passenger in a car that collided with a school bus on K-254 at Adams Road. She was killed and another student was injured in the crash.
There were over a dozen students on the bus at the time of the crash, but none of them were injured. The Butler County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
Counselors and additional support staff were available Monday at Circle High School. Circle Public Schools superintendent Don Potter expressed condolences to the families of both students.
