Wichita Man Charged with Stealing from U.S. Dept. of Labor

A Wichita man has been charged with stealing from the government.

A federal grand jury in Wichita returned an indictment against 34-year-old Jack Crowder. Crowder is charged with two counts of theft of government money or property, and one count of engaging in illegal monetary transactions.

According to court documents, Crowder is accused of stealing $17,688 from the U.S. Department of Labor on September 7th, 2022, and $5,412 from the same department the following day.

Crowder’s first court appearance was on Wednesday, June 28th.
