Wichita leaders to attend Paris Air Show

Wichita government and business leaders will be in France this week for the 54th Paris Air Show, one of the largest aerospace events in the world.

The Greater Wichita Partnership is participating in the event from June 19th through the 25th to promote Wichita and its advanced manufacturing and aerospace capabilities. The event is expected to attract nearly 150,000 visitors.

The Partnership will be joined by officials from Spirit AeroSystems, Boeing, Bombardier, Textron Aviation, Airbus, GE Aviation and the National Institute for Aviation Research.  Elected officials making the trip will include Kansas Senator Jerry Moran, Wichita Mayor Brandon Whipple and Sedgwick County Commission Chairman Pete Meitzner.
