Wichita Police are investigating a shooting that seriously injured an 18-year-old Wichita woman.
Around 1:05 a.m. early Sunday morning, police responded to a shooting call in the 2500 block of S. Seneca St. Upon arrival, officers located an 18-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to her right forearm.
The victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators learned that the victim was involved in a verbal argument with an unknown suspect, who then produced a handgun and shot her.
