Eight people were hurt in a crash late Monday morning north of downtown Wichita.
The crash was reported around 11:45 a.m. at Murdock and Washington. Police said an eastbound car went out of control after losing a tire, and it went into the oncoming lane and hit a westbound vehicle, then overturned.
There were four people in each vehicle, and they were taken to a hospital with minor to serious injuries. Two of the injured were children, one 4 years old and the other six months of age.
Police are still investigating the crash.
