A 29-year-old Wichita man is being held on 10 counts of animal cruelty after his arrest for a recent domestic violence incident.
Police said Logan Cavender was arrested on May 12th for a domestic incident, but he was arrested again later after three cats were found dead or injured near 69th Street North and Hoover Road. Investigators said he had tortured the cats.
Jail records listed 10 counts of animal cruelty against Cavender. He is being held on a bond of $250,000.
